A gala, A-list attended, multi-designer fashion show fundraiser
with cocktail party produced by Cool Green that features eco-friendly
fashion. The City of West Hollywood has pledged support as an annual sponsor
of the event. This is a red carpet event with full press and
media coverage. Members of the Cool Green Fashion for Forests honorary
and working committees are from a wide strata: leaders in design,
entertainment and corporate industries. Event sponsors have
an "eco" focus or initiatives. Sponsorship opportunities
are on several levels with excellent promotional benefits.
BENEFITING:
Direct beneficiaries of the Fashion for Forests Event: Two not-for-profit
organizations: Trees For The Future and American Forests.
Cool Green has developed relationships with these two well
- established organizations and has determined that they have
outstanding, relevant programs, as well as the infrastructures
to effectively handle large donations from Cool
Green. Trees For the Future plants trees globally and
American Forests plants trees throughout the U.S.
The premier Cool Green Portrait Series will feature high-profile entertainment
personalities who endorse the Cool Green Mission. August
Bradley, award-winning
fashion and advertising photographer, is creating the Cool Green Portrait
Series. (augustbradley.com) The series will have a consistent look tying it
together as a cohesive whole, while each image captures the personality and
the dedication that each subject brings to our mission. The look and feel of
the images will reflect a stylized contemporary fashion aesthetic. We
intend for the series to produce iconic images of many of the most familiar
faces in our culture, and to channel that celebrity recognition into broad-based
awareness, support, and action.
BENEFITING:
The images will be used in magazines and electronic-media campaigns to promote
Cool Green and its environmental message. A series of limited edition
(5 each) fine-art prints for auction and gallery/museum exhibition to raise funds.
Second-level plans include a fine-art coffee table book for national distribution.
The goal is to raise awareness of the urgency to reverse global climate change,
and to raise $250,000 to plant one million trees
to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.
